We resell the Ako Premium FLEXIGATE green gate reel, which we have found to work well for timer gates. The maximum length is 6 m. A connector is included, so you can feed electricity into the fence rope if you wish.
In winter we recommend spraying a frost-protective silicone spray (e.g. resistant to −40 °C) inside the reel and on the fence rope. It stops the rope from freezing so it reels in whatever the weather.
