HayTime Magnet
Magnet for a timer gate system with two fence ropes.
Choose the length of the timer gate you are building.
The magnet is attached to the post below the HayTime timer. In a two-fence-rope system, one handle of the gate reel goes on the timer and the other on the magnet (the handles are joined by a spacer rope). When the timer releases, the handle on the timer pulls the handle on the magnet along and the gate opens.
There are two magnet strengths: a long timer gate needs a stronger magnet than a short one. Choose the length carefully. A magnet that is too strong may not open the gate, and a partly opened gate can cause dangerous situations. A magnet that is too weak will not hold the bottom rope in place.
The magnets are designed and tested for Ako Premium FLEXIGATE green gate reels. We cannot guarantee that they work with other reels or gate systems.
The magnets are very strong. Handle them with care and open the sales package only when you are ready to install them.
